Diwali Price Shock! After Amul, Nandini Raises Ghee, Butter and Paneer Prices

Diwali Price Shock! After Amul, Nandini Raises Ghee, Butter and Paneer Prices

Diwali preparations could put extra pressure on household budgets this year. After Amul increased the prices of ghee and butter, another popular dairy brand, Nandini, has also made its products costlier. The Bengaluru Milk Union (BAMUL) has revised the retail prices of Nandini ghee, butter, paneer and Trupti milk. The new rates were announced on November 4, 2026, and are now applicable.

For families buying these products regularly, the price revision could increase grocery expenses during the festive season. But how much will you now pay for your favourite Nandini products? Here are the revised prices.

Nandini Ghee Price Increased Across Pack Sizes

Ghee is one of the products affected by the latest price revision. The new prices vary depending on the packaging and quantity.

According to the revised price list issued by BAMUL, Nandini ghee in a 200 ml pouch now costs ₹95. The 500 ml pouch is priced at ₹425, while the one-litre pack costs ₹850.

The prices of PET jar packaging are slightly higher.

Nandini Ghee PackNew Price
50 ml PET jar₹65
100 ml PET jar₹100
200 ml PET jar₹180
500 ml PET jar₹435
1 litre PET jar₹870
5 litre PET jar₹4,250

A one-litre ghee tin is also priced at ₹870. Customers purchasing larger quantities should check the latest MRP for their preferred packaging.

Nandini Butter Prices Also Revised

The price increase also covers salted and unsalted butter. The new MRP of 100 grams of salted butter is ₹90, while its 500-gram pack costs ₹380.

For unsalted butter, customers will now pay ₹160 for 200 grams and ₹390 for 500 grams.

This means households that regularly use butter for breakfast, cooking and baking may need to spend more on their regular grocery purchases.

Nandini Paneer Now Costs More

Paneer buyers will also face revised prices. The new rates depend on the pack size and type of paneer.

Nandini Paneer PackNew Price
200 grams₹115
500 grams₹260
1 kilogram₹485
Medium-fat paneer (200g)₹110

The revision also covers Trupti milk. Its 135 ml pack now costs ₹11, while the 450 ml pack is priced at ₹33.

Another Dairy Price Increase After Amul

This price revision comes shortly after Amul increased the prices of ghee and butter. Earlier, the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) had also revised the prices of Nandini milk and curd.

With ghee, butter, paneer and milk becoming costlier, households that depend on these products may see their grocery budgets increase further.

Customers should check the updated MRP on product packaging before purchasing. The revised Nandini prices are particularly relevant for consumers in the Bengaluru Milk Union market.
